Deskpro's used a "diagnostic" partition to hold the setup/disg
software. If the partition is still there with the programs, let
the computer POST and watch the cursor on the top of the screen.
When it moved to the upper right corner hit F10 - I think it's right
after it beeps, but I'm not sure.
If the diag partition is not there you will need to download the
setup/diag disks from http://www.compaq.com/support/files (it's
called a SoftPaq) Follow the directions to create the disks and you
will boot off of them.

Hi
I have an old COMPAQ Deskpro computer which I'm trying to upgrade.
The problem is I can't get into the BIOS setup. I've tried holding
down F1 during boot and also tried with DEL, but neither work. Does
anyone know how, if so I'd appreciate any help.
TIA
Nicolas
