Don't know, but I did broke one myself (at very first time P3 1G release),
and it was the only one got broken, after I broke it, everyone (at my
workplace) has been taken 200% care when deal with P3 1Ghz heatsink.
Yes, I agree that it is very easy to break.
My experience on this heatsink is, when you close the plastic clip, do it
slowly, if you feel it is too hard, don't force it, soft the metal clip a
bit and try again.
