I couldn't remember now, but you should be able to get the info from aopen
site. The shared memory means the memory system takes for video. In your
case, it is 1mb. I know ASUS has a memory upgrade for i810 and i815 mobo,
but couldn't remember any Aopen offer this. Any way, the integrated video on
i810/815 is not suitable for games, for office work, it is good enough. In
my opinion, it is not worth to spend money on video memory upgrade for such
chip.

Subject: [PCBUILD] memory sharing

Starting a Pc with a Mobo Aopen MX3W PRO R 1.2 I read " 64512K OK + 1024K
shared memory". What does shared memory means?

Since it uses an i 810 chip set, the 4 MB video memory reported by windows
98, are on a chip on the mobo or are taken from the SDRAM memory?
Is it posible to get the video memory up to 8 MB?
