Hello Everyone,

I just bought an Asus K7V mobo and it has an AMR slot for an audio modem
riser card. What are the pros and cons of these modems? Are they comparable
to a pci Winmodem? I've been using an isa modem, but since this mobo has no
isa slots I need to switch to pci, amr, or external.

Any input is appreciated, especially personal experience with the amr
modems.

Thanks.

Dennis Thiel
