Most modern computers have this feature built-in.
When you first turn on your PC, you will see a message
about entering the CMOS settings. While that message is
being displayed, do as it instructs (usually press DELete).
Once you get into the CMOS settings area, select the option
to view both the CPU temperature and the ambient/motherboard
temperature. If you have an AWARD bios, then this area is
called the CHIPSET FEATURES.
