Another good reason to eat a high-protein, low carb diet.....
20/20 did a segment on alcohol consumption. Three men (one small-framed,
one medium and one large) entered a drinking contest of sorts to show the
effects of alcohol consumption and the various factors that come into play;
size, food consumed beforehand, etc.
The expert said *what* you eat has as much of an effect as how much; fat and
protein take longer to consume than carbohydrates and, therefore, do a
better job of dulling the impact of alcohol consumed thereafter.
Once again, protein and fat good, carbs bad.
