Thanks to all who responded to my query about making mayonnaise at home with
raw eggs. I, too, made my own mayo some 25 years ago, and never got sick from
it. I dunno, maybe there was no salmonella "back then", or maybe I just got
lucky. But the myriad of condradictory answers has left me sitting here still
scratching my head! Sigh! Anyone know of a source for organic/free range
chickens and eggs in the Hudson Valley, NY area?
