I am having a problem starting my computer. I have a 900 T-bird on an Epox
EP-8KTA+ MB running W2k. This machine is about 6 months old. When I first
got it, all I had to do to start it was hit any key on the keyboard. Then
about 6 weeks ago that ability started to fade until finally, I always had
to hit the power button to start it. If I should shut down, then hit a key
while it is still warm, it will start, but if some time passes, I have to
hit the start button. Now, just hitting the button won't bring it up. Now to
get it started I have to hold down the start button as if to power it off,
and then press it again to start it????
Is this a hardware problem or a software problem???
Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Paul
