I've been refilling inkjet cartridges for over a year now, and
it's definitely worthwhile if you don't mind getting your hands
dirty.

I would stay away from the "one ink fits all" stuff that's
advertised on TV. Get ink that's formulated for your specific
cartridge. You can start off with an inexpensive kit that
includes everything you need, including instructions, and if you
decide it's for you, you can then buy ink by the pint for some
super savings.
