I have an HP Pavilion 8676C system (PIII - 600MHz)that is crammed to the
gills. The case is a mini tower and has a Plexwriter12/10/32A, a DVD
drive, a hard drive in a removeable rack, a 36MB Maxtor HD, a GeForce2
MX video card, 384MB etc, etc. It only has a 185W power supply and I
think it is being taxed to the limit. I also feel that it is running
much too hot and would like to know if it is possible to remove the guts
and transfer them to a new full tower case with LOTS more cooling and a
larger power supply (300-400W). Anyone know if this is possible and
have any suggestions for a new case? or should I salvage what I can and
start with a new case, motherboard, etc.
TIA,
Frank
