I called Dole's 1-800 number (1-800-232-8888) to ask from where they got
their citric acid that is used in the Dole Fruit Bowls because a member of
this ListServ was inquiring about the origin of their citric acid used in
the Dole Fruit Bowls. The representative I spoke to said the citric acid is
acquired from the United States, so not to worry! Only citric acid acquired
from China could possibly be made from wheat. Gobble up!
