I've a Nvidia tnt2 and it works poorly on resolutions above 1024x768 and
crashes quite often when the second monitor is working. Since DP usually
uses19" - 21" screens and up, it is not a good choice.
Imho, get the best 2d card -- something from the Matrox line, maybe with
dual-display capability...
