Hey guys! I just picked up a book on (fishing) fly-tying, authored by an
English bloke who contracted polio during WWII. He's still going strong,
and there's a photo of him on the frontis piece fishing in the stream from
his wheelchair. Man's in his eighties and still catches huge sea-run salmon
in the U.K. I thought that was pretty cool!

Yep - Looks like freedom in most areas - Just theres
'limitations' - But can be overcommed - just need to
change my life a bit to accomodate them.
Im going to start now - in increasing my arm strength
- so when i do need to go into a chair, Im not
starting from scratch (I used to be in a chair when i
was younger - so thats not a problem)- just getting
used to the changes from "walking" to wheeling..
Gordon.
