Ken-
You should be able to remove these ads. Go to keyword: Preferences (or click
on My AOL, and pull down to Preferences). Click the last box in Preferences--
'Marketing', then click 'pop-up' section. There should be choice to receive
or block pop-ups: yes or no. Click no. That should get rid of the annoyances.

Granted AOL is big and can be lame... the computer equivalent of driving a
mini-van, but for nationwide ease of access, I think it's pretty hard to
beat. I've been all over the country, and its as easy to sign on in New York
as it is to sign on in Ohio.
