Please do a thesaurus run on "lunatic" because I hope to find a synonym in
that list with which I can get warm and fuzzy.

For I too not only have an affinity for racing but have been known to do it
myself (though I've yet to use "racer tape" on my car except for numbers)...

My word processing program thesaurus gives its own unusual list of synonyms
for racist:

extremist
opinionated person
fanatic
intolerant
bigot
sexist
narrow-minded person
male chauvinist pig
crank


but I think an affinity for racing just makes you a lunatic
