Gentlemen,

May I ask those familiar with DSTN Notebook LCD Displays about problems
I am having. My notebook, a Texas Instrument Extensa 610CD, lately shows
vertical streaks in the bottom half of the screen. The display is
manufactured by Hitachi/IBM. The streaks don't come on all the time.
While the system is booting up to the Windows 98 openning screen the
system is still okay which makes me suspect driver problems. However,
since it involves exactly one half of the screen I suspect also
something with regards to the scanning of the LCD system.

I'd appreciate any inputs.
