Don,

When you flash your BIOS it usually resests everything to defaults.  Your
printer may not be the only thing that disappeared.

Have you gone into the BIOS on bootup to make sure that the parallel port is
not listed as disabled?  If it is you need to set it to one of the enabled
functions.  These should look something like "ECC", "ECP", "Standard" and
"Disabeled".  If it is enabled and you still don't see it then it might be
in your OS.  If that is the case let us know what OS you are running, the
version (i.e. Windows 95A or 95B), etc. and we can go from there.  Hope this
