Caution Beth,
Age and/or grade scores are used for the laymen. Scientifically they are
very inaccuratte. A Fourth grade is compared to other fourth grader. If that
fourth grades "scores at the Eiigth grade level" that only means he has a
high score for a Fourth grader. If his raw score were compared to that of the
average Eight grader,
his grade equivvalent would be abouth Second grade or less. Technically,
grade or age scores are ordinal(ranked). There are no equal intervals between
ranks. so you can't realling say Brianna is any where specifically. She is
higher the her average grade mate. That is all.
