How did the animal urine odor removal go? I read this in the N Y Times
yesterday and thought it might help:
"...skunk odors are from sulfur compounds called thiols. The following
formula oxidizes the thiols resulting in non-volatile compound that can not
be smelled. Mix the formula in an open container because it foams so much
that a closed container could explode. The formula can not be stored.
1 qt. 3% hydrogen peroxide
1/4 cup baking soda
1 tsp. liquid soap like Soft Soap or Ivory
Work well into fur and avoid the eyes. Let sit long enough to work - let
your nose be your guide. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary. The thiols
may be persistent if they soaked down the hair shaft so odors may persist
especially if the fur gets wet."
