Well, maybe it takes an elephant's memory.
At this point, hoistoric preservation has indeed made history. But while we
are constantly seeking historical references to serve as the basis for
developing HSRs and preservation plans, give deference to documenting our
own point of reference in this greater context.
With Lucy, it woudl be insightful, if not humbling, to see how strategies
and perceptions have changed over time.
