In previous post I requested a list of restaurants in the St Louis area
where I could get gluten free meals. I recieved 7 posts. And to all who
posted I wish to thank you for your response.
It seems St Louis is a destination for others as well. I recieved 5 post
asking me to share any information I recieved.
1 response recommended Tony's maybe I will have to save this for my
annivessary. partial copy of original post: The only 5* restaurant in
St. L. is Tony's--- and not only is it wonderful, but Vince, the owner,
knows all about Gluten- free. It is expensive---
Plus the poster posted there are "some wonderful Vietnamese and Thai
restaurants on South Avenue and all over town. A lot of their dishes are
GF."
2 response Applebee's (chain) serves fish, rice and steamed vegetables and
wonderful lemonade and I have always felt fine after this meal
Also stated there are two Wild Oats Markets in the area.
My husband and I also did an on line search and located The Outback
Steakhouse, Chevy's Fresh Mex and The Cracker Barrel all three have some
gluten free food items.
Hope this helps.
Brenda
