I was in Berkeley and went to Rick and Ann's for pancakes (which I don't
think are all that good, but my son, who is also gf, found interesting).
My sister went up the street to the bakery, and came back with the
wonderful news that they had gf baked goods--they list all their
ingredients and there are about 3 things that are in fact gf but not the
bread which I was looking forward to. Anyway, the chocolate cake is to
die for--absolutely a chocoholic's heaven--I'd choose this over any
other chocolate cake I can remember. The only problem is that it
doesn't travel well (by the piece it fell apart but was still phenomenal
tasting) It's the Bread Garden, 2912 Domingo Ave, Berkeley, CA 94705,
(510)548-3122 I have no interest in this bakery at all. They have a
suggestion box -- please everyone request they make a gf bread.
