I have also found that it is necessary to move both the slider in Control
Panel Modems, and in your Dial Up Networking Modem Properties. Don't ask me
why it was this way, but it was. Not a problem with DSL.

        ATZM0 (that's the number zero 0, not the letter O) should work. TTYL
