The fuser roller is heated by a lamp inside the roller, which is supplied directly from the AC power supply.

The heating lamp could be over drawing current, this in turn trips the lamp voltage circuit.
Or the Power supply is faulty. Please replace both.
This is why 50 Service Error kits were made by parts suppliers.
If you replace the fuser, and the fault was in the power supply, you can damage the fuser lamp again. and viseversa if you only replace the power supply.,

NO it isnt the DC controller.

Pull back top cover, then remove 4 screws, one in corner of the fuser assembly. Then it should lift straight up.
