An important issue is being discussed on other raw lists that should
be known more widely in the raw community: a woman recently
died while fasting and following the advice of raw vegan advocates.

A woman joined the fruitarian email list on yahoo. See her
introduction in message #701 at:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/fruitarians/messages/701

Read message 986 and related followups:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/fruitarians/messages/986

Message #997 is a *must-read*--there it is revealed that the woman
died while fasting to cure her appendix, which burst.

I have not read many of the intervening messages (between 701
and 986), but a friend who has read her entire list history
informs me that the deceased became a fruitarian and her
hair started falling out (between message #701 and #986).

I ask the readers of this list to read as much of the above
history as they have time to, and form their own conclusions.
Already the rationalizations and excuses are being presented on the
other raw lists. It seems that some raw vegan advocates are
utterly shameless (and clueless), and will promote dogma --
even if it causes the death of their followers.

I'm very busy, so won't participate in any followups on this
discussion here -- sorry, my time is *extremely limited*.
As requested above, read the material and form your own opinions.
Others are --of course-- free to discuss this topic here
if they wish.

PS feel free to forward this (or an edited version thereof) to
other lists or post on bulletin boards -- but remove my name
when posting. Make the rawists face the issue, rather than
engage in personal attacks.
