I'm not sure that "quantum mechanics" has anything to do with it, but the
mindset/worldview of the scientist absolutely must affect the findings.
This is why the scientific method requires reproducible results, and peer
review.
However, the whole system is entirely vulnerable to situations, where the same
mindset/worldview is in common amongst all those who review the findings....
