I eat north american termites . their consistency and taste remind me of
dairy products ( it is milky white inside) . they are easy to catch in great
number in the fall when they get their wings and fly off from their rotting
wood nest to make new nests. The rest of the year you can havr access to
them by destroying part of their nest.
They are obviously quite fatty ( because of their consistency )The shell of
insects and crustaceans are made of protein who contain an amino acids not
found anywhere else ( i don't remember the name when a friend who studied
insect consomption told me )
I never ate them cooked only raw.
