Almond meal contain gluten? It seems ridiculous to me.
I have celiac and react fairly strongly to minute
amounts of gluten (presumably since the only gluten I
ingest is accidentally and I'm VERY careful - and I
still get sick occasionally when eating out). Yet I
eat almond flour/meal, which is just ground up
almonds, on a DAILY basis without any adverse effects
at all.
I think the person who said it had too much gluten
meant something else or they don't know what they were
talking about.
Michele
