I have been on vacation recently and thus not in a position to post on the
Gambia-L.

However, I would like to take this opportunity to extend my condolences to
all that have lost loved ones recently.   Katim, Sidi, Jabou and everyone
else I have failed to mention, accept my deepest sympathy on the recent loss
of your loved ones.  May the souls of the recently departed rest in perfect
peace.

 I also extend my condolences to the families of the UDP members that lost
their lives in the recent horrific car crash.  Rest assured that they did not
die in vain.  This unfortunate loss will only serve to strengthen the
opposition.
