Thanks Modou. it was actually Abdoulie Jallow who suggested supporting
Citizens FM first before seeking another alternative, and Prince Coker also
said that such a station should be in The Gambia, which leads to the same
thing again. Both of them have a very good point, and l guess the question is
how this support can be rendered.You have raised a very timely issue here
yourself, and l hope that the ideas being thrown around here are not just
relegated to mere debate.

I agree totally. As mentioned earlier this was not
my original idea. I just liked the idea and wanted to
share with the list members. It definitely does not
look very practical that any neighbouring country will
want to host such a station. I agree that we should
all support citizen FM whole hearted, and there isn't
a better time than now sine the matter is up again. As
you said that is where we should start then if all
efforts fail we can start looking into alternative
