Certainly true. However, Henry Ford II (the original Henry's grandson,
Edsel's son), took over the company from its doddering founder and went a
long way to reverse the bigoted legacy. Ford's sponsorship of the
unedited, uninterrupted TV broadcast of "Schindler's List" is just one
example of how things have changed.
Maybe not everyone is convinced, but here in Ann Arbor, Dearborn is a big
employer right down the road, and FoMoCo is far better run than clueless
General Motors. One of the past presidents of our synagogue is a Ford
exec.
