Joe,
I assume you have a network card installed. I have the same thing happening
to one of my systems and have been told (by Linksys tech support) this is the
way it is supposed to work and you can't make it go away, BUT it only happens
on one out of four systems I have (Win98SE) so I think it should be possible
to resolve. All of my NIC's are Linksys LNE II cards. Good luck and sorry I
