Actually, if the fish is packed in vegetable oil, she should not buy fish
packed in oil. It would only be advisable to buy fish packed in oil if it
was packed in sild (fish oil) or extra virgin olive oil. Most companies,
however, use cheap oil. Notice that even in health food stores, 99.99% of
salad dressings and all the mayonnaise is made from canola oil. Why? It is
cheap, far cheaper than olive oil. Vegetable oils are a threat to health.
It would be wiser to buy water packed, sodium-free tuna, t hen add your own
mayonnaise made from olive oil seasoned with an unrefined, sun dried, truly
mineral rich type of sea salt.
