Wes, thank you for the informative reply. Yes, I agree that the lack of animal products was probably a culprit, I never made any attempt to supplement B-12 or anything, and I'm much happier now with the addition of fish and eggs and meat to my diet. Thank you especially though, for the information about fruit acidity - I have always prefered slightly unripe fruit - and therein may lie the tooth problem - A typical five-ten crispy nectarines in one day plus oranges and whatnot were probably more than my teeth could handle. Especially on days when I had only eaten fruit and I felt like I didn't need to brush my teeth because my diet for the day had been 100% natural and therefore harmless. Maybe the excess acid is also a factor in the ulcer my naturopath thinks I have.-Lara
