The Cyrix "PR" or Pentium Rating has been in existence since Cyrix first
started making Pentium class chips. A 120 runs at 100 or 2X50 a 166 ran at
133 or 2X66 a 200 ran at 150 or 2X75 and on and on. Look at the clock
settings in any Pentium Classic era motherboard manual and you will see
the difference between the chip ID and the actual MHz it ran at.
I am looking at a Cyrix 686L 200 I own which runs at 150 and was made to
compete with the P200.
This is the notation marked on the chip
6x86L-PR200+G
The PR means Pentium Rated at 200.
