No, you can't tell.  You have to look at ingredient labels.
Anything that contains hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated
oils has trans fats in it.  There are some naturally occurring
trans fats, that are not harmful.  Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA)
is found in beef and contains trans fats.
