I posted a message about hair loss last millenium (actually in 1999). As raw
food couldn't stop male pattern baldness, following Spencer Kobren's book
"The Bald Truth", I have been taking for 6 to 9 months:
- zinc picolinate: 1 tablet/day (this represents 22 mg of zinc)
- saw palmetto extract (80-90% total fatty acids): one (160 mg) capsule/day
- Pygeum Africanum (bark extract, 13% total sterols): one (50 mg)
capsule/day
- Fresh stinging nettle root extract (urtica dioica): ~40 drops/day
- Fo-Ti (= Ho Shou Wu = polygonum multiflorum): one capsule (500 mg)/day
- raw vegetable juices, extracted from a Champion juicer: 1 large cup on
most days.
Unfortunately, my hair hasn't grown back (I don't know if it is still
falling out). I am
now trying to increase dosage; if this still doesn't work, I might need
Propecia :-(
