      On my earlier post, I forgot to ask, were you diagnosed dairy
allergic?  If so, I find the doctor's comment for you to take Lactaid as
very suspicious since Lactaid will not help a true allergy to dairy (only
avoidance will help a dairy allergy!).  Lactaid only helps with lactose
intolerance.  Intolerance shows up as gastrointestinal problems when exposed
to dairy while dairy allergy involves gastrointestinal problems and
respiratory problems with a possibility of hives as well.
