Hello! I had some blood tests done to see if I was a celiac and one of them
came back possitive. The normal number was 25 and I was only a 33. So, we
decided to scheldule a endoscopy. Before my endoscopy I went straight to a
health food store and bought some rice noodles, and a bunch of gluten free
food because I would give anything to feel better! With in 4 days I was
already feeling better and seven days later I had my test and it came back
negative. I have had every symptom possible for Celiac Sprue, and since I
have been on the gluten-free diet I have felt much better. Do you think I
should go to further testing? Do you think that eating no gluten before my
endoscopy could have altered my test? Or do you think I might just be
sensitive to wheat products? Please help me! I don't want to be on this
diet if I don't have to, but it is the only thing that is making me feel
better!
