The first time I saw Denver...
On a mid-winter's night I come down I-70, from the west- looped around from
Madison & Ann Arbor-,  high as a kite on road burn, amphetamines & some
hitch-hiker's weed.
So whipped that that I'm convinced  my heart has stopped...
From Lookout Mountain the city simply explodes in your windshield as far as the
horizon & gives you vertigo....
And I was led to believe that I was visiting a Cow-town....
