I checked the Pins , wiggled the cable also twisted it and straightened it
out , from end to end - nothing!
Pulled the case off the tower and found that where the cable connects to the
tower it leads right down to the motherboard . On outside the cable sits
about 1 inch from the bottom of the tower. I would guess no seperate vid
card. I checked everything in device manager and couldn`t find anything in
conflict. The only thing that I found wrong on the outside was a long slice
in a thin wire that led to the back of the mounted speakers on the moniter.
I also checked the color setting and found that my icons looked better when
set to true color 16bit instead of 256 color ? Any other thoughts?

First. Check the pins
>on the monitor cable. With the monitor plugged in, wiggle the entire cable
>around by where it connects to the video card and up by the monitor itself.
