Hello all,
For the past few years I've been using a tape drive for backing up
purposes. Recently, however, the two tapes I had been using broke. Now
that I am out of tapes I'm considering a CD Burner and I'm looking for some
feedback from those of you who have such units or, perhaps, use another
method. First, though, I suppose I should tell you more.
My computer is a Compaq 5360 (desktop) with the standard setup: Win98, 10G
HD, 64m RAM, AMD 450Mhz processor, built-in video (4m of shared memory) and
a 48-speed CD. My only reason, at least at this point, for
having/considering a burner is simply to back up data. That may change
depending upon the input I receive, however.
Any and all thoughts would be appreciated.
Tia.
