This probably is the wrong forum as you mentioned, but here goes anyway; I
have a PSION Series 5mx. It really is the best thing in the computer world to
come along since sliced bread. If your Series 5 is like my Series 5mx, You
may have a setting in "Control Panel" set to shut the screen off. On my
Series 5mx I would go to Control Panel, either from the menu system or by the
"Ctrl+S" shortcut and review and modify the settings as required. Hope this
helps. If you are like me I would assume you can hardly function without it!
Good Luck!

Jay Merritt
