Its not that simple.  We are all assholes some of the time.  Just because I
only saw the greatest tormenter of my architecural education when he was an
asshole and saw no evidence that he was capable of anything else, doesn't mean
that at some point in his miserable career he wasn't something else.

And just in case there is any doubt, yes I did say those things to him, yes I
did say them before the grades had reached the registrars office and yes, that
is evidence that when properly motivated I too am an asshole.
