I tried to take photos of the Masonite factory in Laurel, Mississippi. Got
accosted by a fat security guard, who ultimately let me keep my film but
wouldn't let me take a more shots. I suppose back then I looked like an
industrial spy.

I took a tour of the Homasote company about two years ago. The amazing thing
is that they still use some of the same machinery to produce the boards that
were first used back when the plant was first established. The factory is
still located at the same location too; although, they have expanded the
buildings since then.
