The answer below is not complete for this particular question.
It could be done this way. This would require a Hub, and
two plain CAT5 cables.
Another way (for only two computers) would be to use NO Hub,
and one CAT5 cross-over cable. This would be cheaper, but
limits the options to expand...
Another advantage to using no Hub would be that the NIC cards
will run at their full speeds, and not be limited to the top speed
of a "cheap" (slower) Hub.
