Boot your computer from a boot disk. Make sure that the disk has all
necessary drivers and files on it (such as those to start your computer,
control your cd-rom drive, and reformat a hard drive). At the DOS prompt,
type
format c: <enter>
where c: is the drive to be formatted; and when that is done,
sys c: <enter>
Be warned that this will erase ALL data from the c: drive. Use with extreme
caution.

Can anyone tell me how to reformat my harddrive? I uninstalled window 98 in
control panel, reloaded windows, but some programs are still installed.
