I am planning to take my 4.2gig Seagate out of my 633 Compaq and place it in
a Acer/ Aptiva running a 2 gig Seagate. I am also considering using "Partion
Magic" to remove my partions on the 4.2 gig hoping to conserve my programs. I
am banking on Auto Detect to sense the new harddrive. Does anyone have any
cautions or warnings about these two processes? Any comments or suggestions
will be greatly appreciated.
