My workstation at the agency I work for is long due an update (PII 266) and
my boss just OK'd me for a replacement. The replacement is an 800Mhz PIII
and I thought that I could simply remove the hard drives from the existing
workstation, install them in the new PC, go into CMOS to get the system to
recognize the drives and go! WRONG! I get as far as the initial blue
screen which says windows NT version, Service Pack amount of memory etc and
it hangs! I have spoken to our local system builder and he says it should
work fine!

Any ideas where I am going wrong ?

Thanks

DW

P.S. Still having fun with my home assembly Tiger kit! LOL!
