Thanks for the tips on my 95 Gateway, one more question, the system of
course came with win 95, I upgraded to win 98 with upgrade disk, no
problems but somehow a little birdie keeps telling me to go back to 95,
I know it is a less bulky system than 98 but I "think" it runs faster on
95, Is this my mind playing tricks or with all the upgraded is the 95a
better than early 98 editrion with all the upgrades, for my system, with
80 megs ram.
I beleieve I will follow the advice and keep it asw is a nd let me
daughter take it too school next year, when I get a new system I will
get a 15" monitor to accomodate dorm room, keep my 17" Gateway EV700
Monitor(a newer edition replaced under warranty in my third year of
warrany, along with a new video card & board, both originals I guess).
Then buy me a Intel system, too may new changes & improvements to
upgrade this old workhorse, one thing though, this thing is bulletproof
!
